About the Challenge
URAAN AI Techathon 1.0 is a national AI challenge aimed at fostering innovation and solving real-world problems in Pakistan. It empowers youth, promotes AI adoption, and contributes to the nation's digital transformation.
The challenge brings together talented teams from across Pakistan to develop cutting-edge AI solutions that address critical challenges across multiple sectors, from healthcare and education to agriculture and public services.
Phase 1: Submissions
Teams work on sub-problems or can submit their already available project/startup.
Submit the entry form available on website and later on we will contact you via your mentioned email to submit the code.
Phase 2: (Techathon Day, Islamabad)
Shortlisted teams will be invited for techathon day at Islamabad after the evaluation of Phase 1.
Teams will be evaluated by judges and technical evaluation committee. Winners announced the same day.
Phase 3: (Incubation & Mentorship)
Winning teams receive mentorship, cloud resources, and pilot opportunities to launch real products/services

Challenge Roadmap
Team Registration
Teams and individuals can register through the online portal.
Technical Evaluation
Submitted entries will be evaluated by technical committee till 4th week of October.
Mentorship and Incubation
04 winner teams will be awarded by cash prizes and shifted to phase 3 where they will get the incubation and mentorship tentatively for 6 months
National Final
Top Scorer teams will be invited for Phase 2 – Techathon Day at Islamabad. No TA/DA or accommodation will be awarded to any team.
Awards Ceremony
Techathon day will be 1 day activity and the same day 04 winner teams will be announced.
